Ringspann Clamping Disc
– The basis of the RINGSPANN system is the Disk Pack. The revolutionary design of the RINGSPANN Disk Pack allows for high levels of accuracy, and can be used in the clamping of short length registers, and thin-walled work pieces. RINGSPANN Disk Packs can be used for clamping a part ID or OD (up to 200mm in diameter), or clamping parts on two different diameters.
– Used in 2nd operation turning, mill fixtures, grinding and inspection. Available as a 9 degree disc for best accuracy, or 15 degree disc for increased stroke. The motion of the disc expands to clamp, while also creating a pull-back motion for constant position of your workpiece.
